Entrance Preview

I had given JEE MAIN examination in which I scored 45 marks. DYPIEMR is very great college still it is new one, campus is also very great. Admission process is quite simple and all the persons are helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is very good for students career. it is not only exam oriented. Syllabus is quite best as affiliated to SPPU. Also many teachers are available to spread different things regarding research for students. Many other competitions on research oriented are carried out. Many guest lectures regarding same are carries out.

Internships Opportunities

College not provide internship programme yet, but sure in future there will be. Still many college students goes to various companies for internships.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are good, Many multinational compnaies like TCS, WIPRO, GODREJ, MAHINDRA, BAJAJ etc comes for placements. College assists for placements . Campus placement cell ia very active. Campus training and placement officer is very helpful having very good relationships with many companies.

College Events

Many cultural events celebrated in college. like Ganpati, Dahihandi, Diwali, Rakshabandhan, Colleges Annual Programme etc. College cares for all the outside students and celebrates all the events in college campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, Only the Maharashtra Government backward classes scholarship is provided. also the tuition fees waiver scheme is available.

Campus Life

Campus life is overall too enjoyable. Girls are in the same proportion of boys. College having many cultural and project oriented events.

Exam Structure

Fees are (approx,) for open- 80,000, OBC- 45000, NT- 8000, SC-4000. The fees are raised by some amount every year. Fees are different caste wise as the Mahasrahtra Government Scholarship is provided to Backward Caste Students.

Faculty

All the college faculties are well experienced and having a lot of knowledge with them. all of them have done their masters from a well universities. I would like to mention Mr. Lokesh Giripunje who teaches Electronics is always great for me. He is not only a teacher with academics but he tells about current news and career opportunities and also cares for student problems individually.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. I have taken admission by qualifying the cet exam by 93 pecentile . The college gives admission through cet exams. The admission process is through CAP round if ur score is above 93 for girls and for boys the cut off is around 94 percentile and reduces according to category. If ur alloted with the college u have to pay full fees alloted to your category if you dont have the required category documents you will have to pay the full fees at the time of admissions .
