Exam- AIEEE, Score- 48. I opt this particular college because of the fee structure. It is a Central University which also feels me to join this.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum is same as the other colleges/ universities. They have their own curriculum which covers all of the main topics of the course with labs & assignments. They follow the prescribed books for the subject which covers the main topics of the subject.

Internships Opportunities

No, they don't provide any internship by them. They only just provide you the letter of confirmation which declares that you are the student of that college, which you have to seen in internship wherever you do.

Placement Experience

0.5

A big no for the placement & job opportunities in this college. There is no placement shell, but some of the faculty (like-Mr. Vinay Prasad Tamta) is doing a great job in this field. But the management is not taking a step for the placement & job opportunities.

College Events

3.5

You can't even imagine that how much events celebrated in college. Auditorium seems to be full every week at least once. Technical events held only in the Tech-fest of the college, but the cultural & management festivals are like Sunday which comes every week.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The only reason for which many of the students enrolled in this college is the fee structure. There is only 22K per year which means 11K per semester for the Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) programme, which seems very feasible comparing from other universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, but only for the reserved categories. Loan facilities are not offered by the college but you can loan from any bank & college will provide you all the help needed.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus Life is so cool. It is somehow same as you see in the movies. No restrictions in hostel, you can bunk the class as many as you want. Nightouts, sports, election time. High Gender ratio. You have enough people to stare of opposite sex either boys or girls. The only thing which make its hell is the market. The small market is the issue of the college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

College life is all about hostel life. So hostel is the most important part of the college life. Hostel room is quite good, shared by one or two peoples. All of the basic facilities are provided. Mess food is normal in quality. Yeah, but hostel seats are limited so you can go for the P.G which has monthly rental like 6-7 thousand.

Exam Structure

The condition of the exam structure is same as the condition of congress party now a days. Most of the previous years questions are repeat always. Basically, if you solved last 3 years question paper, may be you will be next topper.

Faculty

2.5

Some faculties are good in teaching but some of them are not. There is no specific teacher of the subject. A faculty can taught as many subject as they can, because the management of the college is in its worst condition. 90% of faculty is temporary & may be resign during semester.

Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.

Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google, microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.
