Remarks

Most importantly here I found great standard of recruiting companies. Placement is the most important aspect in an engineer life thus after seeing the opportunities given to core companies here was impressive. Many colleges don't provide this level of job opportunity to core branch and they mostly work for Tech branches but this wasn't the case here. Admission in done using 3 mode. 1-KCET, 2-COMEDK, 3-MANAGEMENT. Fees varies a lot between KCET/ COMEDK and management. My reason to prefer this college over other in Bangalore was that it was the second best college of here and RVCE was above but for chemical engineering I would not prefer you RVCE.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I really liked the faculty and staff here. At least for chemical engineering I can assure you that the faculty over here is BOMB. you have well maintained Lab and all necessary machinery. All profs hold PHD and have issued many of their research paper. They all are very well qualified and try their best to provide us with same knowledge and wisdom.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

We have a club called IEEE which continuously work to get companies and startups on campus to provide different opportunities. For chemical engineers there is an organization called as AICHE and IICHE. Which deals with providing all chances of exposure to chemical engineering branch students.

Placement Experience

4

4th year students are eligible for placement, but 3rd year student can go for mandatory internship programme. 1st and 2nd year can go for volunteered internship . For placement check the college website. There you'll find all those companies which come to hire and Recruit.

Fees and Financial Aid

For COMEDK For first year total fees is 2,00,000. Later on 3 years fees is 1,75,000 per annum. KCET fees is less than 90,000 management fees is pretty high. And it varies branch to branch. for eg ; management fees for CS will be more than civil.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is fun. We have a fest called UTSAV and its cultural fest where a student explore a lot. We have numbers of club of our college like INSANITY for debate, PRAVURTHI for drama, then you have fine arts, NSS, dance club and many more. Seniors are very supportive and its really fun being with them. We have a huge sport complex with 8 badminton court and 2 basket ball court indoor and sports like cricket, volleyball outdoor.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are different hostel for national and international students. Food at the mess ain't bad, At least better than those which we get at nearby PGS. Hostel life is worth living and amazing warden, supervisor and care taker. We do have strict rules and regulations but that's all for our safety.

Other Applied Colleges

RV COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING | CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

I have heard from my seniors that placement cell for CHE branch in RV isn't that good comparative to BMSCE

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.
