Entrance Preview

Kerala Entrance Exam Ranked around 2000. Wanted to get into Govt or Govt.aided college and MACE was one among the oldest.

Course Curriculum Overview

College provided good campus and environment even though it was small compared to other Engineering colleges. Syllabus was completed on time and exams were all happened on time.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was not provided but had the freedom to do it outside. We had full support in getting required letters and guidance for the same.

Placement Experience

Placement cell was very active and right person was given responsible. There are few companies visited such as UST Global, Siemens, Infosys etc. Package was between 2.4 to 3.0 LPA and around 100 plus got placed. But 90% of them got placed through pool campus before pass out from our batch.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very much feasible according to me. Semester fee was the only fee we used to give. It was very reasonable and no additional expense or fee has been asked by the college. It used to be varied depending upon semesters but definitely not more than 2500/-.

Fees and Financial Aid

Few scholarship programs were introduced by the college and loan facility was not that much offered.

Campus Life

One of the best time. Academics were good but equally balanced with social life. Festival celebration, Arts fest, sports day were the main celebrations. Apart from that, there were quiz, debates etc conducted simultaneously. Politics, election were there as in limits. Tours were planned and conducted properly. Gender ratio was perfect as 50-50%.

Alumni/Alumna

There is alumni and network is not so strong according to me. We used to have meetings at the early stages, slowly went down.

Faculty

There were very qualified people, and senior faculties were very keen on helping us on studies, getting into right track of learning. HOD was specifically high qualified and made sure things happens.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

nehru has implemented placement traninng from the start of the course itself, from first year itself we get to placement classes which made us adapt and get to know how interviews are conducted. from 4th year onwards i think students are eligible for placements and more than 75% of students gets placed every year

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
