Remarks

The university had world class faculty. The faculty at geu had a lot of work experience and even had practical knowledge as they graduates from various international institutions. The placements opportunities were also great with an average package of about 4-5 lpa and the highest package was around 20 lpa for the academic year 2020. Along with good quality education the University has a great and beautiful campus with clean and sanitized housing facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was divided into 8 semesters with appropriate courses and programs. Along with theoretical, the practical knowledge was also a plus point for the course as the teachers were professionals and were very good with their respective fields.

Placement Experience

The 7th semester students are eligible for placements. The university also gives special classes to the 7th semester students to prepare them for placements. Various tech and life sciences companies visited the campus such as Infosys, coginzant, panecia biotec, patanjali, goldmann Sachs, Capgemini, Amazon,ZS scaler,byjus etc. The highest placement was 20 lpa at Amazon. Around 80% students were placed.

College Events

The university held grafest and mini grafest in summers and winters. The mini hrafest is also known as tech fest that has many techinal events and competitions where's the grafest is an event where students can enjoy and dance their hearts out along with various extra-curricular activities at the day time. During the fests, the college apps organises exhibition where students form every department showcase their projects and the best projects are awarded.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes for Students who have scored more than 80% in their 12th gets a scholarship of 14000 off from their fees. The students have to maintain a cgpa of 8 or above to keep getting that scholarship in every semester.

Campus Life

The campus had 3 libraries and one main library was situated right at the centre of the main campus. The University also had sports facilities like basketball, volleyball, cricket and even football and held many inter-campus and president cups. The labs were also well equipped. The department of biotechnology had all the necessary equipments including HCL, Pcr, IR Machine along with extra micropippettes. The lab also had Plant and animal tissue culture lab along with air filters giving students a professional experience.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I opted for hostel facility. People do say that hostel food is really bad but at graphic era one will enjoy the food as they have many available options and even the quality is really good. Other hostel facilities are also good.

the cousse curriculum is well structured and cover both foundational theories and practical concept. which was key reason for choosing this program. it provides a solid acedemic base for higher studies and includes case studies and group projects that help bridge the gap toward real world application. however there is still room for improvement in increasing hands on in increasing hand on industry explosure moder tool integreation and practical workshop rather than leaning primarily on conventional textbook learning

My honest review of MBPG College

Likes

Being a government college the fees are very low and student friendly most teachers are knowledgeable supportive and clear in explanation focus on studies exam and all over all discipline
Open ground greenery and enough space to relax between classes decent collection of academic books and difference material
Easy to reach from different part of Haldwani lesson unnecessary pressure more focus on its education

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old type som building needs to get repair
Campus placement opportunity are very few from classroom slabs and building need renovation
Not many model amenties compared to private colleges office works can be slow

Social life is good with feat happening around in college.
Wifi is provided in our building and the hostel.
Infrastructure of our new hostel and our labs is good

Dislikes

Teachers are qualified but the quality education is not good
Too much restriction on girls but boys are free to roam at night.
Mess food is just acceptable not that good.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students need to be atleast in last or second last semester of the course. But for internship it's fine even if student is in 1st or 2nd yr. But most of teh students here decided to pursue master from here only and I still don't know have exact idea hown many students got placed in th companies.

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

The faculty here is very helpful and they teach only realvent things about your course and they also provide you day to day notes and assingmemts for your daily prep

There is no such things that i did not like in this collage but if i have to say something i will go with the canteen service is very bad and not very friendly

Course Curriculum Overview:

On expericing day to day people and theirs pain in the muscle and joints . This made me decide why i should choose this course . The area which they need for improvement is if they give more attetion to some sports that will be very greatful for the students so that they can have some fun other study and stress. The timing of the collage is 9 to 5 and if you have any exam or practicals only then they call you on specific time and regular classes are off on that day duration of the exam is 1.5 hours
