Remarks

This college is in North campus of Delhi University. One. Of the oldest and we'll established colleges in entire Delhi University.It was one of the best options for my percentage to get a government college of my choice.The admission process is quite swift.One can go to the college website and know every bit about the college.This colleges offers many factors that makes choosing it worth.

Course Curriculum Overview

Economics honours gives profound knowledge about the economy of India as world as well. It best suits a economics lover who will enjoy learning deep theories and mysteries in this course.The curriculum is well developed.No doubt the facility is worth studying with excellent teachers.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

Many students of our college get placed specially from bcom Hons and economics Hons background. Many recruiting companies visit our campus including Deloitte, EY, KPMG, McKenzie, etc.Interviews are held for sale selection so it's totally one's utility to crack the interview and get placements.

College Events

Campus life is good.It has clubs and societies of various activities like dance, music, debating, poetry, environment, calligraphy many more. Annual fests are held in which students take part enthusiastically. library has a wide range of books it's a perfect place for book lovers to sit and study there.

Campus infrastructure is decent with everything that a college should have. It has ground, library, cafeteria,labs, Gurudwara, garden, WiFi facility, well built classrooms, auditorium, Halls etc.

Are off campuses worth the DU hype

Placement Experience:

Placements cell works for the placements but gets bare minimum or very low profile courses. Students become eligible to apply in third year. I dont have the data because I didn't apply for the placements. Avg package is around 400000 that also in low profile jobs. % of students placed is also very low. My plans after the degree is to either pursue MBA from tier 1 college or continue/start a business/family business as it is best time in india to pick pace

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I don't know much about placements as a first year. But highest package is 23.5 LPA and median was 13 LPA. Companies visited were accenture, EY etc. the placement report for 2025 batch had not yet been uploaded on the website

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom hons because i was interested in commerce and here too they provide top level learning. With computers they teach us excel and everything and its really nice in this technical era that we are continuously learnibg and learning. I even joined my internship and there too i used all my learnings from college. So overall i love this as i can focus on other things too

As per the reports only 30% gets placed and you should build outside relation with companies because companies over here you have not even heard of them, so it's like college not for placement average placement is about just 3.5 LPA
