Remarks
Chandigarh Engineering College Landran provides a 360-degree training program that focuses not only on the technical aspects of a student but also on the overall personality as a whole. The admissions are based on a combination of both JEE score and 12th board percentage, but not necessarily. As I got admitted on the basis of my 12th percentage. This college is located in a quite better location.
Course Curriculum Overview
With the expansion of globalisation, the countries are united by technology. The new advancement in technology is the future, so I believe Computer Science Engineering would be a great option. The faculty: students ratio would be 1:19. The faculty is quite qualified and experienced. The teaching methods are good as well as enjoyable. The exams are okay, one can easily come through a little focus.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement at the end of the 6th semester only. Many companies visit the campus every year. As many as around 627 companies, with lots of offers. The highest package last year was 31.5 LPA, and the average package is around 3-4 LPA. Around 70-80% of students placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is as follows: 47000 for 1st sem 43000 for the rest of sem. 1000-1500 for exams fee every sem. The fees are quite high and would be difficult for the middle-class family, though comparatively less than the other private colleges. The college provides few scholarships, so does the government.
Campus Life
The campus life is very vibrant and lively. There is so much greenary around and negligible ragging. College hosts many events, most popular of all, 2 day of Parivartan, wherein many students from different schools and colleges visit. There is a grand Library at the entrance as well and the classes are well equipped as well. There are many social groups, virasat, rangmanch, and many others that would broaden the spectrum of knowledge.
