Course Curriculum Overview
I think they need to focus on Case studies. Practical knowledge should be more valuable than focusing on Marks. Teachers for MBA are not that good, they need to hire more experienced and all those who have rich experience in teaching or Corporate sector.
Internships Opportunities
No, They do not. For Phd students there might be a chance that they may offer internship. But as far as my knowledge they do not offer any internship.
Placement Experience
Apart from MBA, Placements are really very good and students aree getting very lucrative offers from International companies. But college need to focus on MBA placements as well, TPO is really bad, does not have any contacts. We were not able to get any big packages or companies.
College Events
Saturnalia is the biggest event they have. Every day there is a new event. Every minute spent there is worthy for the college life. Basis on the extra curricular activities i would strongly recommend Thapar. They have annual sports events also for sportsmen.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very expensive. Even hostels are very expensive. You need to pay approximately 1 Lakh Rs for each semester or trimester. Hostel fees are again varies from 20 thousand to 35 thousand per semester which includes food also.
Alumni/Alumna
They keep on organising alumni events nationally as well as internationally. They have very strong network of Alumni and Alumni are really helping them to get the placements done.
Exam Structure
They have trimester system, but weekly tests keep on going. Lab test, Viva are very frequent. They have internal assessment by quizes, whose marks are used in Final valuation. But frequent tests makes you hectic all the day. Moreover presentations also keep on irritating, as you have to give 2 presentations for each subject to get internal marks
