I am pursuing Mtech from VNIT (NIT) Nagpur. It is amongst the 10 best NITs in the NIRF college ranking. It also ranks above a few IIT. My admission was though CCMT centralized counselling for m.tech and m.arch admissions. After the GATE exam result, Coap and CCMT are held for admission. The student is supposed to register for them. Vnit offers very good placements, companies such as intel Marwells Seimens Philips have already visited for Internship offer a great career opportunity. There is nothing bad in my college. I referred to NIRF ranking and college Dunia website while filling my choices in CCMT

This is the best college for me. Placement opportunities are really good here. All the faculties are professional and well qualified from good universities. Due to the pandemic, they are all conducting online classes and are very polite and open to every kind of doubts and extra classes. For Exams, online exams are being conducted due to covid.

We can choose whether we want to do our second year project on campus or in some industry. We can apply for an Internship off campus as well. All the project offered by respective guides is totally based on new technology and upcoming research area. And can go for PhD degree also if he/she has an interest in that domain.

For Mtect from the second semester on board, we are allowed to sit in Internship drives. The most special thing about the ECE department is they allow student for 12 month internship, which says in the 2 years of MTech degree one will be for theoretical knowledge and another one for projects or internship both options are available for every student. The minimum package is around 5-6 lakhs per annum and the average is around 8 to 10 lakhs annually.

Fees for this college is high as compared to others. For Mtech student admission through CCMT (GATE qualified students), MHRD provides a monthly studentship of 12,400 rupees. Job opportunities are really good. So its all worth it in the end.

Axis in the annual fest in VNIT, various technical and cultural events, lectures, talks are held in this program. The campus is beautiful. It's situated in the heart of the city. Trees all around the campus make it more beautiful. Infrastructure is also good and well-organized buildings for different departments.
