Remarks

It is one of the top 10 veterinary government colleges in India. As it is a government college it is very affordable and also after the complete edition of course it gives ample opportunities to individuals who serve the animal kind.

Course Curriculum Overview

It provides ample opportunity to serve the animals and be their voice. The various departments are headed by talented teachers. The teaching staff are well affiliated with the course and use of smart class provides better opportunity to understand.

Placement Experience

After the completion of the course the students are provided with the wide range of job opportunities. The students can apply for postgraduate courses under the college or they can go to the poultry section or other banking sector jobs.

College Events

There are many annual fest and techfest and it is mostly around the year. A well maintain the library is provided to the students. College also has other facilities like indoor stadium gym etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is around 26000 per year. Scholarship is available for reserve and merit students. After the completion of 4 years the students are provided with internship stipend which is about 14000 per month.

Hostel Facilities

The students are provided with hostels. The hostel campus is good lush green. The meal quality is also good and affordable and monthly mess dues are collected by the mess secretary.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

Exam is conducted by the Assam agriculture University. It mostly consists of of 180 questions. Subjects included are zoology botany chemistry and physics.

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practical learning of the subject. It provides quite deeo learning into each subject. As the course provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge it becomes quite easy to apply the knowledge to further academic of occupational pursuits. Also it provides 3 months internship after the completion of the course. The improvement areas are the teaching methods of some subjects like pharmacognosy, social pharmacy, etc. Exams are conducted in a time interval of every 2-3 months. The duration of the session exams are 1and half hours while that of final exam is 3 hours for each subject.
