Daisy Deka's Review On College Of Veterinary Science, Guwahati

I love biology, I wanted to pursue my higher studies in medical so i chose to be a veterinarian as I got selected in Veterinary entrance exam. I like this course as it is all about animal study. I love animals and it will be my immense pleasure if I can do something for them

As we both have theory and field course study, I find it interesting always. To know different animals, their behavior, different diseases and their diagnosis and also the treatment of them it is a vast and tough course yet interesting.

Good. I don't know much about it. As I am still a UG student I don't have much knowledge about it. But I think it's good as I heard that from seniors

Very good. Starting from the foundation day of our college, many festivals and special occasions are being celebrated every year. The college organizes college weak and hostel inspection, drama competition, interhostel cricket and football tournament. They also organize many festivals like saraswati puja, biswakarma, diwali, holi etc.

I am lucky to say that in our college we have two play ground, one stadium, a library and 2-3 laboratories for each department. As a whole a very wellplanned infrastructure. We also have an academic cell inside the college.

We have total 5 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel. They are good. But the girls hostels could be more specious. The water quality is not so good sometimes. But overall hostel and the boarders are really very friendly and active in any activities.
