Remarks

The college is reputed and well known. The degree/ course I wanted to pursue was available. The opportunities provided by the college as shown on their website and I had heard from others were good and not offered anywhere else.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is autonomous and a private university so they had and followed their own curriculum. There is a tri-semester pattern in which around 5-6 subjects were thought in each trisem. The curriculum was good and up to date. Academic wise we did have practical sessions and workshops which were a bonus. Some of the faculties are so good. They teach and provide details in a very different way which helps to understand.

Placement Experience

Reputed companies like Syntel, Siemens, Accenture, IBM, HCL, Sasken, CSC, Hexaware, Wipro, Cognizant, Birlasoft, Keane, iGate, i-flex, AIG Software, etc. There are also international jobs for which an examination for apply to them and many more companies. A student having no backs or above 7CGPA can sit for it. So far there are positive remarks about it.

College Events

Our college is known for holding many events and fest on an intercollegiate level. We have our technical fest called Texephyr where different colleges participate in the national level. Summit is our sports event in which various colleges of different cities come and play. Aarohan is the cultural fest which includes competitions, comedy night, music night, stalls, games etc for anyone to attend.

Campus Life

The college WiFi works well in some places where there is no signal. The library was good too. The labs were spacious and every student could use equipments. The classrooms were capable of holding big crowds of 50 or more students easily. Smart boards are there to help with smart teaching.

Hostel Facilities

There are two girls hostel is inside the campus while the boys one is outside the campus about 1.2 kms away. The college buildings are very close to the girls hostel and one can reach their class easily in a few minutes. One of the hostel has common washroom while the other has private. Both are filled according to first come first serve basis. There are PGs easily available right outside the campus too. The rooms available range in number of people in a room. There is mess available too and it is compulsory. However in the boys hostel mess is not mandatory.

Admission

The college checks marks of various exams such as JEE MAINS, MH-CET, NEET etc. I got admission on the basis of MH-CET exam marks. I took the MH-CET 2019 exam and scored 92%.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

Easy Money

Likes

Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

MIT-WPU: Nurturing Talent and Innovation

During my research for chosing my college I got to know MIT WPU is better in many ways from the other college i was getting addmision in . First, The fees of MIT WPU were less compare to KJ Somaya Mumbai , Second I got to know from seniors that MIT has well qualified faculty members and also its very diciplined college , Third The Placements of MIT WPU were having a good record than other colleges . Yes I got rejected in many colleges The main reason behind them was my percentile . I got 91 percentile in my MHTCET and the colleges i filled form were closing at 97-98 percentile . So i was not able to make into them The Admmision process of MIT WPU is quite simple . You have to fill the form from there official website there they ask each and every detail like your percentile in different exams and all . Then if you fit in there criteria you get a official mail that you have been selected for the specific course . Pune's Best Private College

I have applied to many collges and some colleges where i have got confirmed admission is G.H. Raisoni Jalgaon, KIIT (bhubhaneshwar), Pessat(bangalore). I choose MIT WPU over other colleges because of the knowledge which i would gain here. The placemnet here is quite good. I have got a lot of experience here. The training sessions here are quite nice which re not in other colleges. Also there is lot of oppurtunites for students here. Some colleges such as RVCE and DSCE in bangalore have rejected me because i couldn't clear their cutoff Admission in my college is on the basis of JEE results and MHT-CET results. The college is not mentioned in CET cap rounds as the students have to apple separately for the college through its website.
