Title bit about college life

University of Delhi is prestigious and well ranked university in India and abroad as well. It is well known for the nice faculty and infrastructure in its colleges. Faculty is really nice and helpful. It's methods of teaching are well known all over country and are way better and effective than the methods used in our state colleges and universities.

Really great, helping and supporting faculty. If one is ready to learn, faculty will do whatever they can to make sure that the person learns. They will help u in any problem related to your study. Yearly deortmental fest are held. Professors from other Universities are invited to deliver lectures on certain topics like electromagnetism, quantuam mechanics etc.

Moderate placement in the campus but huge opportunities are also there out of campus and in foreign countries also. If you are good at study and conceptual knowledge in strong then there are chances u can get a placement in campus or even in the same college.

Social life in the campus depends on person's friend circle. I am in North Campus, there are no clubs nearby as per my knowledge and infrastructure of college and university in really really nice.

Fee structure is high as compare to other DU colleges. Person can avail a few scholarship. Yearly scholarship for course toppers are awarded. One can also avail other government scheme scholarship like NSP, AICTE etc Campus jobs are rare.

In first year I rented a room in PG renting 8000 rupees per month, accomodation was okay but food was really bad, I have ro complete the whole year because of contract. In second year I rented a flat with few friends of mine and ate food from dhabas. And we live in a PG but food is from a tiffin service. I will suggest food from dhabas (affordable) and tiffin services.

There was no interview but if there would be then my admission would have been difficult at that time. Some colleges under DU like Saint Stephen college conduct interviews for admission, that is really helpful for determining students confidence and potential.
