Remarks

I choose this college because this college has got nice placements. Many big companies like amazon provide jobs in our college. I was admitted on the basis of WBJEE rank. I got allotted in the college and then I had to pay fees to freeze my seat and then I was given a date till then I had to make my admission. This was the nearest to my house and this college has got nice placements and it has got a NIRF ranking of 154. Websites like CollegeDuniya, Sikhsha ki Udaan I have used while selecting this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I have chosen biotechnology. Because I have loads of interest in this field. Students in this course are comparatively less than that in cs, ece, etc. because it is an emerging field now. This year we have got around 90 students in our batch. The teaching method is good, teachers are very interactive with students and make them learn and not just nag. We have internals before semester exams. But teachers keep taking class tests, viva, etc.

Internships Opportunities

3

Initially, they offer through websites like insignia, Internshala, etc. Then there are apps like LinkedIn and many others. Internships are offered in fields like web development, android development, software development, hacking, internet things, business and communication skills, etc.

Placement Experience

3

From 3rd semester exams, students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Wipro, cognizant, IBM, ITC Infotech, persistent system, IBM, Microsoft, Amazon. Microsoft highest package was 16 lacs. The Institute signed an MOU with the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), NJ, USA for a student exchange programme under which the first batch of 20 students had a 6-week training programme at NJIT during 2008 and the second batch of students are also undergoing training programme at present. Almost 80% of students get placement every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have got a tfw seat so I don't know much about general fees. For tfw students, you have to pay 5000 when you get allotted in this college to freeze your seat if you don't want to freeze your seat in this college and want to take admission in other colleges you don't have to freeze your seat. After freezing you have to pay 23200 as admission fees. After that, you have to pay only at the time of semesters as examination fees of 1200. Note:-All of the above are the fees structure of tfw students for biotechnology.

Campus Life

3

Initially, we get freshers part organised by seniors to give a very warm welcome to us. Quiz, projects which are reviewed internationally, parliamentary debates and many more activities take place in our college on regular basis. The library is fantastic you will get almost every book you want. Sports also play a good role in our college. There are many clubs to enhance your knowledge, increase your contacts and skills, also there's a website run by students to help students with all this.
