Remarks

This is one of the top best colleges for Bcom. Availability of transport from this college was pretty easy. The faculty of this college is very supportive, motivating and hardworking. Moreover, they have great knowledge of their subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bcom honours are required in some courses. Moreover, I can opt for chartered accountancy as well after completing my Bcom honours degree. The teaching method is fairly interesting. Faculty are hardworking and have great knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

Companies offer internships in social media, digital media and even sales. Students are able to get a stipend of around a maximum of 14,000 workings in the companies as interns. Digital marketing, social media marketing, cold calling, management and many other skills are practised.

Placement Experience

I plan to do an MBA after completing my BCom honours degree. The highest average package offered by a company must be 45000. Many students are able to land jobs/ internships in many good companies of Gurgaon like E and Y.

Fees and Financial Aid

The placement cell works fairly well. Top companies arrive and take the interviews. 2.51 lakh is the 3 years course fees for BCOM Honors. The fees are comparatively the same charged from other IP colleges but here the course is actually worth the money being paid.

Campus Life

There is always full availability of the required books and journals in the library. There are many social clubs or societies for a different set of interests I.e marketing society, finance society, drama, art, singing, event organising and many others.

Interview Experience

I gave a Bcom honours exam for Ip university. I landed a rank of 654 which gave me entry to this top college maharaja Surajmal Institute. They accept ranks till 1300. If a person's rank exceeds 1300, they have a chance of taking admission through an on spot counselling.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

In first year you are eligible for internship. Deloitte company or so much companies visited our college. Highest package of our college is Rs. 23.5 lakhs per annum from bajaj capital company. Percentage of students vary from year to year. My plan after degree is to get a government job.

I applied for Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's known as the SRCC of GGSIPU and it has the highest placement packages in comparison to any other Colleges of GGSIPU and it is ranked the top college of GGSIPU so I opted for admission here and no I didn't get rejected from any universities I got admitted to the one I wanted it's just that you require alot of patience and need to be active about the admission forms being out and all. To get admission in the BBA program at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, a student must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, with English as one of the core, elective, or functional subjects. Admission is primarily conducted through the IPU CET exam held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, students can also be admitted through CUET if their name appears in the merit list and their rank is below 500. Based on the CET or CUET rank, candidates are called for counseling where seats are allotted.
