Remarks

One of the fast-growing 2nd generation IIMs in the vicinity of the industrial region. The professors are very experienced in elite places. The college has the best case competition culture with the highest number of national winners & finalists among the sister IIMs. The campus is beautiful and green in the vicinity of the Himalayas. IIM Kashipur hosts numerous guest lectures from industry leaders. The best part is the student-run campus with over 35 student bodies handling all the important functions of the college on its own.

Course Curriculum Overview

Experienced faculties with experience of UNESCO and elite institutes. There are good student teachers ratio and case-based practical classroom learnings. Online exams were proctored for unbiased examinations.

Internships Opportunities

Summer Placements are 100% completed this season ahead of all other sisters IIMs. Companies like ICICI Bank, RBL, Delloite, Droom, Puma, Ofbusiness, KPMG, Xiaomi, Tata Steel BSL, JK Spices among others do make offers.

Placement Experience

Placements are pretty good. Big brands do come to college. The college completed its 100% summer placements well before all other sisters IIMs. Companies like ICICI, RBL, Amazon, Puma, Loreal, Google do provide offers to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Need cum merit basis scholarship, need basis, and merit basis scholarships are there. The college has tie-ups with banks like SBI. Fees are around 17L INR which includes the hostel fee as well. Mess fees are separate.

Campus Life

The campus is lush green in the foothills of the Himalayas. Social life is great with over 35 student bodies. The campus is completely student-run. Classrooms are technologically advanced. Mess, infrastructure, media, public relations, etc. are all run by students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees are included in the total fees. The hostel has radiant heating and radiant cooling which eliminates the use of Air conditioning and heaters. The food quality is very good with a variety on the menu.

Interview Experience

College admission is very transparent through the CAT process. Post clearing the CAT exam with a high percentile, there was a CAP process. There was a Written Ability Test and a Personal Interview. The process was good.

Placement Experience:

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

Admission:

When you are selected through your CAT you need to pass through the GD and PI round. The topic of GD is related to current affairs and we were given 20 minutes. The PI round was for about 15 minutes and general questions were asked about my academics, my experience etc. I gave some mock interviews which helped me a lot for these rounds.

The IIM of the North

I found the admission process easier (Level Medium on Difficulty scale). The process started with the CAT application form, then the CAT exam, followed by a call letter for an Interview and then the selection email.
