Remarks

A well-known college. But the college fees is too much. Also, various charges applied. Area of college is not that good. Laboratories are good. Teachers take efforts. But not student-friendly. The campus is also too small but has good infrastructure. Extra curriculum activities also held.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Wanted to complete my masters in a good area of the field. 1:6 ratio of faculty: student. Almost all the faculty is a PhD holder. Three exams per semester 2 internals, 1 external. Practical exams also. Exams are good to go but still slightly difficult.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

College is not being seen that it provides internship to the students. But if you want to do an internship then you can do outside. But the time of college does not allow to be interned part-time and also attendance is compulsory. So internship is not a good idea during this degree.

Placement Experience

3

Students have to complete the degree then become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit the campus. The average package maybe 6 LPA. Not all the students get placed through the college. No special teachings or efforts are taken by the institute for the placement of the student. Maybe 50 percent of students get placed. I am hoping for a good knowledge n a job after degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are too high. A government college would have been great. The value of money is not being provided. Also, exam fees and all are too high. Scholarship or any concessions or caste concessions are not being provided by the college.

Campus Life

2.5

The cytosol is the annual function of the college. Many educational and non-educational activities take place during the annual function. The library is well maintained and also journal costs every time too much. Classrooms contain smart board and white board also. Teachers use laptops provided by the college to teach using PowerPoint Presentations.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is good. Cleaning facilities are also appreciating. The hostel staff is also good. The mess is compulsory for hostel students. The mess provides good food and snacks also. The quality of the food was normal. But all the facilities are not as good as its expenditure. Hostel fees are too high.

Interview Experience

2.5

I didn't have any group discussion during my admission. A personal interview was taken by the director and faculty. But those who didn't give any entrance or interview also got admission. That felt like a waste of time.

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.
