Likes

Infrastructure is very good and beautiful
Faculty is excellent and very helpful also teaching method is excellent
Practical labs for science student for each subject are very good and well equipped

Dislikes

Playground of college is not upto the mark
Commerce branch student and overall vibe I don't like
Nothing more it's good college overall we can consider it mess food quality is not good

Course Curriculum Overview

Physics course is good but I thinkit need to improve bit in order to get student a good job. I think they need to add some industry relevant skills into the syllabus to improve course quality and overall structure. Exam are done twice a year which is good

Campus placement facility is available in college very good for chemistry student to pe precise many pharma company visit campus every year . Also provide very good training for student to get placed in top rated company

Fees and Financial Aid

For 2 year course they are charging 50 thousand rupees fees including tution fee and all . For sc st category fee is upto 1500 rupees including tution fee and all other fee. If u opt for hostel then ju required to pay 18000 rupees more

Campus Life

Overall experience was very good and memorable . Library is very huge has massive collection of book . Very encouraging for sports and other activities. No such student group are active in college right now

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good . Hostels are very neat and clean . Rooms are very spacius and vantillated . Hostel is quiet affordable . But food quality of mess is not upto the mark . Registration process is simple we only have to fill the booking form

Admission

The college is affiliated by Savitribai phule pune University. So the quality of education provided in my college is excellent . Also the fee they are offering are very pocket friendly and anyone can afford it

Faculty

Faculty to the student ratio is 20:1 . Faculty of the college are very empathetic haing helpful nature . Student and processer are having great bond . Talking about course ther are total 4 semester in 2 year exam are taking by offline mode by sppu itself . 3 student in my class fail in exam rest did it well

Night Life

Hostel student are not allowed to be stay out after 7 pm for safety . so no such night life is there for hostel student so can't tell about that . But many student hangout on round garden at evening and enjoy the tea

A campus life you must live once in your life - Fergusson College

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Compare to other colleges at least for regular BSc this college is slightly higher reputed at present now. Other colleges like the KK wagh is engineering College while others don't have hostel facilities. The city is also more affordable but still standard compared to other education hub like Pune. Hence for regular BSc course even if anyone got delayed admission can be taken first in any other course in the college and then within the department by cancelling the first chosen course.
