- The student body of the college is sub par and the student crowd in general is not great since most students are not career focused
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum at first seems irrelevant to the real world scenario but there is steady improvement in its relevancy the curriculum could benefit with improvement in the practical applications circle. Exams are well distributed throughout the year and relatively easy to clear.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides intership opportunities for a wide variety of institutions such as lupin, ISER pune, NCBI pune, etc. however is it rare to get an internship with stipend. It is very easy to however recieve intership within the college under different faculties in various projects along with referrals to other well known personalities in this field.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have been paying 195000/- for the tuition fees. Our college takes 10000/- for caution fees and a registration fees of 2000/-. Our college doesn't provide financial aid to students from lower financial backgrounds since it is a private college
Campus Life
The college has an annual cultural fest usually held in the month of March called Cytosoul. The classrooms are well equipped with digital and analog teaching tools such as projectors, screens, and whiteboards. The college also conducts arcane which is an annual sports fest that is held in the month of March and takes part in URJA which is a university wide sports fest.
Admission
I applied for colleges like VIT and MIT and I have got a confirmed addmission in both these colleges but I ended up choosing this college due to it being more affordable. The admission process is fairly linear and simple, the college accepts admission based on NEET UG and JEE marks and also has its own entrance exam and the cutoff is determined by the number of applicants. Most students prefer to take admission based on the college entrance exam marks since the difficulty level is easy.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is manageable but the faculties are very approachable and friendly and they maintain relatively good relations with the students. The faculties that I personally liked are Dr. Satish Sasi Kumar and Dr. Rajesh Gupta, these are widely considered the best in their field in our and do a very good job at teaching the students and providing them with extra knowledge
Night Life
The college has a gym and a cafeteria along with an expansive library which is available from 9 AM to 5 PM The hostel allows students residing there to leave and come back till 8:00 PM. The locality is safe to roam around in the night and the most famous hangout spot is a food stall called Krishna Tea and Snacks Centre.
