IIM Trichy experience

Comparing all the colleges, I choose IIM Trichy because it is excellent in finance and another reason is that this college comes under IIM Banglore's mentorship so IIM Trichy follows the same syllabus. I made some research about the college from websites like Shiksha.com, Quora, etc., and got the information about the percentile required which is around 94 percentile in 2019. Regarding the admission p, there will be a commonly accepted process where GD/PI will be conducted and will be selected based on the overall score.

IIM Trichy has the same curriculum as IIM Banglore. It is designed in a way the students must get a good knowledge of basic and advanced concepts in management. The faculty is well qualified with good years of experience, there are around 30 staffs for 400 students. exams will be conducted in six semesters (yearly three semesters) and will be conducted three months once.

Internship opportunities will be provided to each and every student during the first yr of study. The stipend will also be provided for the interns. Package for the interns will be from 60k to 4 Lakhs for a period of two months. If the company is Satisfied With the work the student can continue to work in the same company after the completion of the course.

During the first yr of the course, all the students are eligible for summer internship placements where everyone will get an internship opportunity. For final yr students, the avg placement package is around 20.88 LPA in 2019. IIM Trichy maintains a record of 100 percent placement record. around 40 to 50 companies will come for placements.

The fees will be around 12 Lakhs for two years and the hostel fees will be separate regarding scholarships, there are several scholarships that can be availed under the Government Of India. internship opportunities are excellent, each student will get the summer internship opportunities and will get paid for it.

Life at the campus will be excellent, there are several clubs run by students like E-Cell, Consulate, Finvest, etc., students will get good exposure from these clubs, every year cultural fest named DHRUVA will be conducted in the month of Jan.

Each and every student will get separate rooms in the hostel. The mess committee will be continuously monitoring the quality of food provided for students, so the quality of hostel food is good. Separate canteens are also available within the campus. Hostel registration will be completed during the admission process.

In the process of admission, there will be a written test followed by GD followed by PI. GD topics are based on current affairs, general awareness topics, latest government policies. the interview questions will be mostly based on your past job experiences.
