Remarks
Being the oldest B-School in India and one of the most prestigious colleges, XLRI is famous for the esteemed faculties, state of the art facilities, and extensive peer learning opportunities. The college has a very rational and merit-based selection process that starts from XAT and concludes with an eye-opening interview experience. It's an experience for the life filled with unmatched opportunities for both theoretical and practical learning. The elaborate curriculum which ensures the expansion of a student's horizon through case-based practical learning and intense application of concepts makes it the most preferred B-School for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The BM course of XLRI is among the top 5 courses in the country. It enables ample opportunities in all fields of management like strategy, operations, sales and marketing, and finance. The college has a healthy faculty to student ratio. The faculty is an even mixture of highly qualified professors with extensive corporate experience. The teaching method is a mixture of case-based, theoretical and real-life projects. Though the term started a little late, the exams were timely conducted and posed adequate challenges for the students.
Internships Opportunities
Almost all the companies which visit for final placements also visit for offering summer internships. The internships are typically 2 months long and enable students to get a real-life exposure to the relevant business problems.
Placement Experience
The final campus placements happen in the sixth semester. Almost all top firms from different domains like consulting, FMCG, banking and finance, etc visit the campus. The campus witnessed a 100% placement.

The total cost of the study is about 25L including residence costs. The fee hike is about 10% for each batch. Its fee is at par with the best colleges in India and is typically the same except that of FMS. There are enough merit and means based scholarship available.
Campus Life
The annual fest of college is Ensemble Valhalla, which happens during Jan-Feb. Additionally, there are plethora of clubs and committees catering to different curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular interests.
