Remarks
When I heard and researched about it, I came to know that it's a very good college in all aspects. The teaching, atmosphere for students, campus, placements everything were rated good. But some of its buildings are old and I wished we had more grounds. The admission process happened within a week after getting the seat allotted by CET. Came to college and did the necessities. I will refer this college over others because the amount of exposure u get here to everything is not matched by any other college out there. I did not use any blog forum or website while selecting this college. Overall it is a very nice place for a student to spend four years learning and enjoying at the same time. Facilities are also very good for national and international students. no doubt about that. I will recommend this college to anyone out there.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it was very different from the other courses. The student ratio is pretty good when it comes to college. But it's very bad when it comes to our course. Our seniors tell yours is the worst case about gender ratio as they all have a 1:1 ratio. The qualification of the faculties is great. They all have Dr tags before their names and have huge respect on the campus. Their teaching method is great and doesn't take you elsewhere. Exams are conducted at the end of each sem and they are pretty difficult. Tests are conducted monthly once and are not that bad.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, they allow us to take internships and that is also considered for evaluation in some processes. We can do it on our holidays but I haven't done any yet. So can't talk much about that. Many projects do happen and are given importance.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. Many companies come to our college. Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, etc are just some of the many. They give many offers based on the individual. Highest I have no idea but one which u heard was around 36 lacks and average also no idea. The percentage of students getting placed is around 90. I haven't planned anything yet.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike policy is average and not that high. The cost to study is also not less. standard and rates are set at pretty high levels. I did not get any scholarships. I did not get any financial assistance from anywhere. I'm still studying here and no job yet on campus with a stipend.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest is called UTSAV. This is held in March or in the even semester and is very good and exciting for all the students. It is held for 4 days, The annual technical fest is called PHASESHIFT. This is held for 2 days and many people come and visit. Books and resources are not a thing to worry about. Our college library is very great and has many books and is definitely a place to sit and gain knowledge. The amenities available in the classroom are very good to use. Sports is very supported here. Any sport you are great at is supported wholeheartedly. Extracurricular activities are supported as well through clubs.
