Remarks

Good- experienced and very professional faculty. Staff members are very helpful here. Very good environment for studies. Campus area is very neat and clean and very beautiful plants and a lot of tress add up to the environment. Students are very friendly and well mannered so there is no chance of ragging or miss behaving. Canteen to sports everything is good Bad- new sports equipment takes a lot of time to come. One have to wait for the merit based cutoff which is released by du to get admission into this college then select the course you want to get admission for.fill the necessary details on the site and then one have to wait for 1-2 days for your admission approval. The most important reason to prefer this college was it was the best college for the course I want to opt under the marks I scored in my 12th boards. And I also checked the reviews it was quite nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I opted this course because the things it includes are mostly matching with the things I love to do and a future into which I love to do ,which is exploring earth and discovering new things (stones, minlerals etc) is like a dream If we talk about faculty student ratio there is 1 teacher per 6 students so one in a need will always find a teacher near by to get help There are well qualified teachers and are always willing to help, thus making the teaching quality good. The methodology of teaching adopted here include presentations and verbal communication which is quite understandableVarious practical as well as theoretical concepts are taught which makes it easier to understand. Students get full support by teachers in this college The course curriculum is very relevant and it helps to gain practical knowledge which is relevant for the commerce industry. Class test is taken on regular basis to check the understandings half yearly exams are also conducted which is not very difficult.

Placement Experience

2.5

From 4th to 5th semester student becomes eligible for campus placement. The highest salary package offered to students of our college was 8 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Academically average students can get a salary package ranging from 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Our college has good tie-ups with companies like Google, Amazon, Reliance, IBS, Infosys and many more private companies. There is a placement cell which takes care of all placement activities and is growing year by year and creating new records in placements. About 50% of the students get placed with an average salary package every year. The placement rate is not pretty good because companies found a very less number of skilled students I will opt for higher studies so that I can get most knowledge of my subject. Companies will obviously like to recruit an employee with a lot of knowledge of work.

Fees and Financial Aid

The duration of the course is 3 years for which one have to pay approx INR 45000 Yearly one have to pay INR 21000 and approx 2000 for every semester exams Various field trips are also couducted which is also very important to attend for this one have to pay for each and everything by self No scholarship or financial assistance is given No placement cell here but provides good internship seminars. You can apply for a job if you want to have after Completing your B.Sc. I would personally suggest to opt for higher studies rather than getting into a job coz then you'll get more fields to work in, with a good paid salary.

Campus Life

3.5

Many fests and freshers are organised on 3 to 4 months gap for the students. Various tech fests are also organised The College has a well-stocked library with a rich collection of around 50000 books, journals, and magazines. The total seating capacity of the library is 100 students and provides individual reading carrels, lounge area for browsing. Classrooms are not big but have all the necessary facilities like well maintained boards, proper tables and chairs. Classrooms are very neat and clean Our college has one cricket and one football ground. It also contain a lawn. Sports equipment are well maintained but new equipments takes time to come. Many events are also organised in which one can participate There are a lot of cultural groups and societies created by students and teachers both in which one can participate

Interview Experience

3

No for admission in colleges of du no group discussion, interview or written test is taken one should score good in 12 the exams and just wait for the merit list to be released on website of du. Merit list is just released after 12-15 days after the announcement of class 12th results. If your percentage falls under the range of the percentage mentioned in the course you want to opt in you will get admission but if not, you can wait as about 5 to 6 merit list is released by du. The difference is that if your class 12th percentage is good you can get very best colleges in first cutoff.

Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
