Remarks

Good Aspects - The college is in my home state. There are no competitors of the college in-state. Facilities are better. Bad Aspects - I searched for this college online. The college stated 100 % placement in its advertisement but the reality is way different got no single core company. Education is not better. Experiments and practical were of very old age.

Course Curriculum Overview

I researched and heard about this course from my seniors. 6:84. In the first sem, there were more teachers. Later on, there were few as per the course requirement. Overall staff was good for a first and second year. In the third year, some staff was replaced. The new people at teaching were not up to the mark.

Placement Experience

Campus placement starts with the 6th semester and stays up to the 8th semester. But there are only three companies that opt for mass hiring in college placement. Infosys, Wipro, and cognizant. Rest companies select only 3 to 17 students out of all students. The average package for mass hiring companies is 3.5 to 4 LPA. Infosys gave only Rs. 6000 per selected student.Samsung display, cognizant.Highest package - 8 to 40 LPA. Average package - 3 lpa.20% got placement in Mechanical. To do a job with a good salary above the average package ie 3.5 LPA as I already got my first separation from XL dynamics.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is disclosed by the college itself at the time of admission. Fee hikes a few thousand in odd semesters. The cost to study is 70 % of the fee amount. Rest 30 % went for transportation and any additional charges for the services that college offered.No Scholarships, no financial assistance, and no job at the campus were provided. Except for a lab of Tata, technology enrollers had paid themselves. The training in that lab was of no use at the end of the college.

Campus Life

Grafest is a very popular event at the college. A lot of tech events were also conducted. There will be one event going on at the college per week. Books were available in the college. Journals were not available. Book issuing was done manually on a register for recording. The playground is there for physical and outdoor games. Indoor games like Table Tennis was there. There were WhatsApp groups, no clubs, and no website run by students.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

The placements of the students in the college is satisfactory. This year the students of third year grabbed a placement of 18 LPA . Wipro and TCS visits the campus frequently. The highest package is of 43 LPA and the average stands at 6-7 LPA.. the percentage of the placements is nearly 90-95%..

The review from heart

After 12 I applied for UIT college but that was not as good as Graphic Era Hill University,as the number of placement are high in Graphic Era and the fees is also affordable comparing with UIT bad the infrastructure is also better then that of UIT's.I cleared the percentage criteria of UIT also but by comparing both the colleges in these parameters I choose Graphic Era Hill University The admission procedure in graphic Era is by filling and getting qualified in CUET exam,only the selected students get the seat and also students can take admission on the basis of their class 12 percentage.The cutoff percentage to get admission in B.Tech computer science in Graphic Era Hill University is 80 percent below that the seat for B.Tech in computer science is not allowed....Read More

My Incredible College

I didn't apply for any other college. I chose this one because it was close to my house and is a really good college. It accepts many exams for admission.
