Remarks
I decided to join this college because it had petroleum branch in it and was a semi-government college. The admission was via CEE and JEE scores. There were seat reservations too. The college has an overall good faculty but some of the facilities are lacking and placement is kind of okayish.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty does a fair job the student to teacher ratio is good. Exams are conducted properly and timely. I chose this course because of the placement possibilities. Teaching is quite good and helpful teachers.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are available only on searching. Oil and ONGC provide internships to selected students only. It's not easy to get an internship without connections. The college does not provide any internship or training.
Placement Experience
The placement possibilities are quite low. The recruiter barely comes to this college. But for a good student, it's easy to get a job. The interviews are tricky and depend on the mood of the recruiter. Placement facilities are not that good.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are not many scholarship opportunities. The fees are quite high with no concessions. There are no merit-based scholarships and the extra money wastage is too much. This part could have been improved.
Campus Life
There is a college fest called auxesis. It's a good well-organised fest. There are sports festival too. The library is quite good with sufficient books. Classrooms are okayish. The fest is usually organized in November.
Hostel Facilities
The girl's hostel is beautiful and clean with good food and great facilities. The registration process is simple but limited seats. The meal quality is good and can be changed if there are any issues. Both veg and non-veg are available.
Interview Experience
There was no interview the exam was conducted by the Government CEE. The scores decided the admission the cutoff was quite low too. Admission is an easy process. The fees is a problem and seats are available.
