Student's Review On Kirori Mal College - [KMC], New Delhi

The Kirori Mal College (KMC) is a renowned, prestigious college of Delhi University's North Campus. Established in 1954 as one of the earliest DU colleges, it has a very good teaching faculty as well as student fraternity. Many notable people have graduated from KMC. There are many educational and extra-curricular societies and clubs operating in my college, which expose the students to various informative and cultural events. Annual College & Depts.fests, trips, and excursions are also organized at KMC. It is the best place to enjoy one's student life.

The course syllabus, in my case, of B.A History Hons.is updated and very good. Academically, we are provided with adequate reading material and are subjected to regular tests and home assignments. The History Dept.'s teaching faculty is very strong and capable. There are many well-qualified and experienced teachers and professors working in the History and other Subject Departments of Kirori Mal College.

Its through various internship opportunities that students apply for College-placements cells and job opportunities. An interview is conducted and then the students get through the placements, they get selected. Its on the basis of various abilities, talents, capabilities, and experiences of working in extra-curricular activities and social clubs that students can avail various internship opportunities.

If one wants to enjoy one's student life after graduating from school, then KMC is the best place to fulfill that purpose. According to my experiences, my Campus life at KMC till now has been very memorable, enriching, and fun-filled. Our college and various Departments, such as my History Dept.organize annual crowd-pulling and exciting Fests, Trips, Excursions, and other Cultural and Educational events and programmes. The participation-level is very high during these programmes as students and other people all around DU and other places visit and enjoy these events.

My college has all the neccessary facilities and required infrastructure, such as the College Boys' Hostel, Sports ground, Sports facilities, Basketball Court, Print center, Laboratories with all compulsory equipments, a spacious Library, WiFi-arrangements, Canteen, Lawns, Open and sitting spaces, lush Greenary, classrooms, and offices. The only neccessary component my college lacks is for a safe, secure Girls' Hostel. We only have a hostel for boys.
