It is a government college. It is situated in my home state i.e Assam.My college is a second home for the north-eastern states of India.The tution fee for the course is very much affordable. Students with low finance background can very much afford to study here if they want to study enginnering without much concern about fees structure of the college. Hostels are also provided for the students and it is also very much affordable unlike other b-tech colleges. It is located not very far from the college.Transportation is also available. Infact bus services are provided to travel from college to main town and vice versa The courses provided in my college: 1)Bachelor of Engineering Branches:civil,mechanical,electrical,computer science,Instrumentation 2)Master of Engineering Branches:civil,mechanical,electrical 3)Master of computer Application Projectors for visual teaching are provided in the classrooms,proper labs are available for practical purposes, books can be borrowed from library.well-probed seminar halls are available within the college. Free -wifi connectivity is provided for students and faculties within college premises and also in the hostel compounds. College activities are held during the academic year. Clubs and societies are also there for interested students to join them. All in all its a good college.

The curriculum of the college is affiliated to Assam Sceince &Technology university, is a credit based assessment system. The course structure of the curriculum is as per AICTE model syllabus. Industrial exposures are provided to students(In my case i got 2 industrial exposures till date). Faculties are friendly enough to approach them.

There is a Training & placement cell for student's placement and internship/ training purpose.Companiess such as TCS,zaloni,Capgemini,cognizant,HUL and industries like OIL,NRL,BCPL has recruited our students.

Our college celebrates two festivals: Phoneix in March. Its a 3 days celebration.Various events are organised.Artists from local as well international come to perform in this fest. Technovous is celebrated in November.Its a technical fest.It is a 2 fest. Various others small events are also organised such as college week and sports week.
