Remarks

I chose this college because of its good education and low fees. I was also recommended this college by my career counsellor. The college has many other facilities for students. The placements are also good in college.

Course Curriculum Overview

All faculty members in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They train students with emerging technologies. All the courses are upgraded year by year. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready for jobs as well as an internship.

Course Fees: INR 425000 per year

Placement Experience

About 80% of the students in our course got placed in various companies. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, BookMyShow, GSG, Probyto, etc. visited our campus for placements. Till now, top roles like data analyst, system engineering, etc. are offered to the students. Students did an internship in various institutions and organisations.

College Events

Lots of events are organised in our college throughout the year, some of the events like Youth fest, Versity Week, Sports week etc. College clubs also encourages students to take part in small events organised to develop skills and talent.

Campus Life

Facilities and infrastructure available in our college are top-notch. The college provides facilities like digital classrooms and department as well as a central library. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and has highly equipped labs. The hostel is good with mess and canteen facility. Our university also has a hospital with 24x7 facilities. All sports and games facilities are available for the students.

College campus placement review

Likes

This college has very intelligent and polite facilities. They r so nicely teaching that everyone easily understand the topic.
I am not bad student of this college and I give more of this year.
Placement services are provided by our college in multiple places.

Dislikes

This college has so slow work experience and not done any work by time.
Some of the faculties are like they don't have time to hear our problems.

Placement Experience:

For 4th semester to students become eligible for campur placements. Tata, microsoft, godrej,amul,etc, etc. Companies are offering very nice package. They give 10lpa per anum. 70 to 80% of students got placement in our college. I am going work in refinery or ONGC

Likes

It is indeed the most beautiful college campus of country.
Many travel destination nearby college. (Shilong, Tawang, Dzuko, Sikkim etc)

Dislikes

Food is not that good. Mess food is not great , also there are not much outlet in campus (they are still coming)
Academic curriculum is tough in comparison with other IITs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good . Around 60% students gets placed. More than 250+ companies visits. Many students are preferring DS and Non Tech roles after graduation ( for core branches ) and they are getting good opporutunities in them aswell.

A chapter of growth, my college life

Likes

Since I am in civil dept so the civil dept is the most well maintained and beautiful dept of my college. The faculty members are more or less friendly and good.
Teachers are good and friendly. Specially in civil the seniors are also good and friendly.
In civil dept there are many events which take place as compared to other dept .

Dislikes

Only boys hostel is there but no girls hostel.
In civil dept the placement opportunities are not upto the mark but in other dept specially chemical placement is good even in mechanical too.
Campus can be made more beautiful although work is going on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I had the passion for civil since my 10th std. I am really happy about my course . Because there are many job opportunities in govt sector in Assam. I like the teachers of my dept but some are not that friendly . Maybe it depends upon their mood sometimes I don't know really . The civil course is practical it's enjoyable. I would have liked it more if it would had more placement opportunities on campus . Otherwise it's fine

Likes

The exposure to every thing including dance music art
Placement and internship opportunities are good enough
Highly qualified professors from different. IIT and foreign universities

Dislikes

Competitive environment , lot of competition among students
Girls to boys ratio is 1:4 and this is quite less than other colleges
Location is 16 km away from the city because of the big campus

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Likes

Open campus provides real growth among students
Faculty and other staff members are real friendly
For native students our college provides strong sense of belongingness

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very old renovation is very much needed
The health and hygiene around the campus is needed to be improved
Hostel facility is needed to be more better

Placement Experience:

College placement in our college is pretty good .one can appear for placement from 7th semester. Average package in our college is around 4 to 5 lakhs. The maximum package ever to come from Assam Engineering College is 48 lakh

I like the environment of adtu its so good for studying cold weather, no noise and about the classes its good i think the ration of boys and girls is 50/50

Dislikes

Adtu does not provide us enough holidays , not enough college functions and competition

India is a developing country. We need civil engineers for constructions of roads, dams, railway, and many more so we need many innovative youths for that. And i want to make our roads more better . Thats thought encouraged me to choose this course

College focused many cultural and extra curricular activities . Becauseany student able to represent our college in different types of district state national international level program. And good news is that many students are able to carry prizes.
I like BBEC because all the faculty staffs are very friendly and supportive. They tried to give best of the best to each and every student. They also help for project related works.
All the book's are available in central library

Dislikes

There are mainly 3 Buses in the college but bus service are poor
No proper reading room are available here.
Average students got placement in every year.

Placement Experience:

Placement - Average. In this yearanu student placed in different types of psu, Company etc. Like NRL,BCPL, BERGER Paints etc Many students selected for apprenticeship, internship etc many reputed organization Like Power grid,REC,TRTC etc

Remarks:

The college facilitates good infrastructure with spacious libraries, laboratory and playing grounds. It also provides a good faculty with years of experience and degree holders from different universities.

Remarks:

The main negative thing is the college is far away from Guwahati city and the transportation service is not good and the university is also situated on the top of hill , so climbing every day mountain is so painful for legs.

Remarks:

Its a good college. I feel lucky to read on this college. They faculty, the facilities is nice. The environment of the college is very good for education. The management cell of the college is also do grat jobs. But the main problem I have found is placement. According to the other colleges the placement of this college is not so good. If the college can give more placement then it will become a great college. Overall its a great college full of knowledge.

The Peaceful journey of a important chapter of life

This college was nearby me so it was easy to travel. Other colleges were very bad in comparison to this college. My academic experience at University Law College, Gauhati University

Before enrolling myself in ULC, GU it tried to get in to Facuty of Law, Delhi University but because of lack of preparation time as I decided to get myself into studying law very late, I could't clear that particular exam and then to seek for other options I found ULC which has a very rich history of a great alumni base including esteemed Jurists and Lawyers around the country. The admission process includes an examination of 100 marks coducted by Gauhati University which tests students knowledge in various aspects including General Knowlege, English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning. The cut off for general category students ranges from around 20 to 30 based on the result of other students. I got through this exam scoring 56 with a rank of 5.
