Remarks

I chose this college in the second cap round because of its reputation in my city. Also its one of the best engineering institutes of the city. I was looking for an autonomous college so i chose this college. The college also famous for its extra curricular activities which caught my eye. The colege fest antaraghini is a grand event with so many opportunities to showcase your talents. The celebrity night event is tge best.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very up to date academic curriculum based on the need of todays world. The speration of marks and end exams are very convenient for student in the form of CAE exams TAE assignment and end semester exam.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

From what i have heard from the seniors placement and job opportunities are good same as the level of other top colleges of the city. The job opportunities for mechanical engineering students are comparatively less than other students.

College Events

The college fest ANTARAGHINI is grand even which provide many opportunities for the students to show case thier talents. Celebrities also visit during this fest. Previously darshan raval and millind gabba have visited the college.

Campus Life

Very clean campus with well equiped classes with e learning facilities. A good auditorium with capicity of over 500 students. Canteen is also clean. And have sveral little gardens throughout the campus.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
