Remarks

I searched many colleges after my 12th examination. My senior brother suggested me the College and told me that this is one of the best Colleges under Calcutta University. This is a government College so the fees are low.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are fantastic and their guidance and lectures are very much effective for all Students. The laboratories are large enough and the computers are sufficient. The library is a good place for reading and computers are available there for the convenience of students.

Placement Experience

Job and internships facilities are available here. Computer Science Students are get the opportunity to join many renowned companies like Tata, Accenture, TCS etc. Internships are available for any students of this course.

The campus life is too beautiful. Besides the education many cultural activities held here throughout the whole year and students participate in those activities and enrich themselves. Webinars, seminars, science fair, quiz contests etc are some of them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
