Remarks

Well reputed Institute with nirf rank 4 for pharmacy. As well for other engineering fields it stand in top 20 university as well. I had completed my graduation in pharmaceutical & engineering background so for choosing the same field for my master is always an added advantage that's why I prefer to take admission in ICT, Mumbai. Average package offered by college is 5.0 LPA. For starting it is adjustable & we get lot to learn. As well as many extracurricular activities also helps to nourish our other skill set.

Course Curriculum Overview

With a One Academic project & 4-6 month of industrial training exposure helps to get familiar with industry environment, management & required skills. It is always good to get trained from India's finest & best professors.

Class Size: 7Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Cipla ltd. Research Intern no stipend offered. Stipend depends on the industry do they willing to offer or not. Research guides do all the process for getting internship.

Placement Experience

Biocon & Mylan for Production Department majorly, then Unichem & Harman fenochem for R&D & after that Quality department.

College Events

Votex a National level Technical fest, Manzar, Yuvam are the cultural festivals were celebrities are invited in which a concert & comedy show is included. Manthan a Marathi Cultural fest were marathi celebraties are invited.

Fees and Financial Aid

Very much availability of financial aids offered by alumnus & all the scholarship offered by state & central government can be availed.

Campus Life

4 hostel building, 2 for girls & 2 for boys. A basketball court, Turf ground. A online & offline library. All kind of instruments available in labs. Some of them belongs to professor but by taking permission we can use them.

Hostel Facilities

Not opted for hostel. It is difficult to get accommodation. For local students they don't offer hostel. Grades do matter while getting selected in hostel & as well as distance from mumbai also matters.

Review for Government Polytechnic, Pune. The dream college for all Punekars.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals
