COMETK entrance exam. Based on ranking i have got Info Sc & Tech branch i have also had option to choosed course on NIE Mysore.

It is good and now it has become deemed university. It has course almost same as Computer science and hence it was good choice to take. It has some research topics and also have to present research in last year with projects. Also give opportunity to get internship and hence it is good exposure.

Jayciana is an annual event which is very famous in Mysore. It has organizing committee which is elected by election and has very strong committee and lot of money involved. It is 3 days event but also has sports event starting 1 week earlier. It is arranged for massive crowd on the last night.

it is feasible based on latest education standard in India. Mess are cheap and hostel also. It has big campus and also has all the sports and space and facility for co-curricular activity. keeping in mind all this fee is cheaper than other colleges in Karnataka. It is a deemed university and i am not sure what is the current fee structure.

Yes to my friends from karnataka who is doesnt belong to rich family and few who was top scorer got scholarship with 60% of fee being waved off. Also it has structure of less fee for SC/ST & north east students.

It is nice and big campus with many facilities like tennis apart from other sports. It has well connected to city since it is in Mansa Gangotri, Mysore campus itself. It has some good teams both technical stream as well as sports. It is very green and they believe to maintain it so.

It is decent and it makes it more good since it is very cheap. It is not easy to get hostel though but if u belong to poor family preference will be given and also to talented students. It has separate hostel for guys & girls and also fro Master degree students. It has good facility including internet and facility to play sports in night.

Yes they are connected via many tech forums or via social media also college has it own facebook page and they facilitate alumni every year. Try to bring them for first hand experience to current students.

It has all the good facility with 2km stretched campus in length and width. It has world class facility and also due to many courses it offer. High quality labs, examination halls and also have bigger hall for placements. Also all the toppers of Karnataka join this college and hence it is based on facility and quality of teachers and course.

Pass the COMETK exam with good rank. Attend CET counselling process to be able to allocate seat based on availability. Based on rank and seat choose by candidate you have to make 3 choices. When my turn came before me many people were preferring colleges in bangalore and hence got lucky to get SJCE mysore.

Faculty was a mix match where some doing job just for sake of doing it and some are really into it. I have found faculty in average to other college is good and dedicated. One of the lecturer was really into it and hence used to scold lot of the students.
