ST.ANNS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION-REVIEW

After completion of Degree, I have written Edcet entrance examination and qualified in that. After verification of my certificates, I got a seat in St.Anns College of Education for Women, which top 3 B.ed colleges in Hyderabad. Reservations benefits are provided for the students belonging to Bc's, SCs and STs. The application form is released by Osmania University on the website, and the application fee is charged around 200 rupees.

The college is a self-governing body- an autonomous institution. The course syllabus is quite good. The examinations have no compulsion for exams to be written in English and can be written in Telugu for tekugu medium students except for pedagogy papers which are based on the respective subject. The course is semester-based and exams are conducted twice a year, as semester examinations with practicals like teaching.

The fee structure for the B.ed course in this college is divided into four semesters... Each semester fee is approximately 15000 excluding the exam fee. For all four semesters, it is around 60,000. Scholarships are not provided. campus placements are the best thing to be told about college almost all the students studying in the college are placed in very good institutions in twin cities.

There is a number of activities which are conducted by students by different club members very often. Sports activities like lemon and spoon, koo- know, kabbadi, badminton etc are conducted, cultural events like celebrating festivals, and community services are also taken up by the students, dramatics etc. are held in the college premises. Christmas celebrations are conducted every year during Christmas. In the library, we find no. of books and journals belonging to the education field and the articles are also published by which are written by the students. All the facilities are provided in the classes room like a smart board etc.
