One of the Best Colleges in India.

I took EAMCET entrance exam i got 396 rank in EAMCET entrance exam in 2001 GITAM was one of the best engineering colleges for study, campus recruitment drives and lab facilities so I joined in GITAM college.

The course curriculum was followed as per Andhra University curriculum being affiliated to Andhra University they course was excellent in terms of practicality and future growth. The course curriculum was very much useful during my initial career days in my job.

My college was providing the internship in collaboration with big industries in India i did my internship in ECIL in Hyderabad and that helped me to understand how industry functions. There was no stipend paid to us but over experience was very good.

Placements and Job opportunities were one the best in India more than 500 students were places in various organisations during campus recruitment drives in college we got very reputed companies to college like TCS, Wipro, CTS, Infosys, Kanbay, CSC, Syntel, Satyam that was very good experience to compete to our friends and securing the jobs.

We had celebrated the events like department days and college days every year we had paper presentations, debates, science project presentations and cultural activities cultural activities were awesome after log technical events totally that was awesome experience.

All of the banks were giving education loans for studying in the college i did not avail any loan facility from banks or college being rank holder.

Hostel facilities were good and quality of food was also very good and hygienic all types of south indian food used to be served, Idly, Dosa, Upma, Biryani, rice, sambar, rasam, curry all are available as per menu we have restaurants as well like pizza corner, Kamat and canteen for eating ourside of mess.

Seniors were very helpful and guiding us very well we used to get their help during exams and campus recruitment as well. We are in contact with them after college completion as well so its great relation between seniors and juniors there.

We used to have 3 internal examinations per every semester and semester end examinations. Exam structure was followed as defined by Andhra University being affiliated to Andhra University we used to have lab internals and lab externals as well we have great infrastructure for the exams.

I attended the EAMCET councelling in Vizag and opted for ECE seat in GITAM college i had chance to opt many other colleges as well but being one of the best in the state, GITAM was my first choice to opt. So it was a smooth process happened being a very good rank holder in EAMCET entrance exam.

Professors were very knowledgeable lab setup was excellent we have great library the faculty was well equipped with the knowledge and industry trends hey were able to rectify my doubts and suggest us in proper direction for my career we had one of the best faculty in India.
