biomedical engineering is a newly introduced course so it has the top notch faculty . we have industrial tours and clubs to improve our experience. conferences to battle real life situations . id ask for a more hands on experience with labs and even lot of conferences. frequency and timing of exams is perfect and we can prepare well .

there are a clot of companies that provide internship with stipend. i applied for zaariya welfare trust with a stipend of 1000. and there are top companies but we need to be very diligent to get into those . you have access to all labs for your mini projects and clg provides funds for them .

students from 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. over 530 recruiters arrived and 3500+ job offers . highest package is 46.5lpa and average is 4.8lpa. 65% students are getting placements. my plans after degree is to join a good clg for pursuing masters or get a cool job in the biomedical engineering field only .

the fees for whole year is 2,80,000 , with 10% increment every year. this is only tuition fees, if you opt for hostel it's another 1,25,000. i have a scholarship of 60% so i paid 1,40,000. my batchmates pay 2,80,000. there are a lot of scholarships merit based , need based which can be accessed easily . but then you have to maintain 8cgpa every year to avail that scholarship. you might've have to pay extra for clg fests and stuff and for NPTEL courses.

there is SHORE fest in January which is one of the biggest fests. kalakriti cultural nights during March. illustra art fest during October . and a lot of small fests regularly. a wide range of books and magazines are available there's zero complaint regarding library. top notch facilities are available in classes . a lot of sports are there indoor as well as outdoor with regular tournaments with top instructors. all the clubs are student run which are aided by clg . my gitam is the portal we all access. and it's the best for everything.

biomedical engineering is available in a very few colleges. SRM in Chennai has this. but I chose gitam because of its culture which if far better than SRM. there's no regional barrier since I'm from the same city as my college. teachers and all are helpful here compared to faculty there . the admission process is simple , you have to write for entry called GAT which provides scholarship based on score . and it's easy to crack it .

Faculty is very approachable and there have a lot experience. there is this one madam vankara jyothi we found difficult as she's strict in a bad way. remaining all i felt the best. they'll help you out regarding everything. there are 2 sessionals which are introduced this year , instead of mid and sem. it's not that difficult to pass , neither it's not easy to gain s good cgpa , labs are well equipped and the best to learn new experiences. if say it's the best for people who wanna have a lot of experience.

there's a gym with all equipment and clean environment with a gym cafe for all healthy protein food . and lot of cafes to hangout and are really cool . there is a cafe called talent cafe where we can show case our talent . hostel curfew is at 9:30 at night . students hangout in open auditorium all night under the dark sky with cool breeze. and it's 200% safe with all monitoring.
