Remarks

It has wide scope. and Horticulture is a new field in NE india. so it has many opportunities. AAU is also one of the best educational institution of India. it's campus is so big, which attracted me a lot. since studying in a beautiful campus is everyone's dream that's why I choose Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are really good. they help the students in every field. they are friendly too. syllabus is quite wide but it is interesting. All in all it is a good topic. I suggest to take Horticulture it you are from NE. since in the entire NE there are only 25 seats.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 36000 per year

Placement Experience

Many posts in the field of agriculture, banking. students can also go for ADO, they also give UPSC, APSC

College Events

Nice experience. enjoying a lot. They used to celebrate each and every festival. Every year they organise college week where there is competition among the colleges. They also celebrate festivals like diwali, holi in a beautiful way.

Campus Life

Campus is large. have football field, volleyball court, stadium, library, labs etc. The campus is really attractive. It contain four colleges. College of Agriculture, College of Horticulture, College of Sericulture, College of Community science.

A considerable college to look for. Sure it would be a very great experience.

Placement Experience:

In Msc courses, there are no placements offered by the institute. However the institute of technology offers placements for btech and mtech students. The highest package this year was 12LPA and the average package was 8 LPA.
