Students in agriculture and banking fields have varied placement opportunities, such as Agricultural Development Officer (ADO) roles and preparation for exams like UPSC and APSC. In the 8th semester, they engage in the Rural Awareness Work Experience Program (RAWEP), gaining hands-on experience with farmers at university research stations and earning a stipend.

Semester fees for those staying in hostels are Rs. 9240, subject to changes. Assam students with a GPA above 7 can earn a merit scholarship, while others can seek scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Recently, fees increased by over Rs. 1000. Scholarships are awarded based on merit to the top 4 students in a group of 25, but there are delays in their distribution.
