Remarks

Top ranked college for bachelor of engineering in Mysore. And have a great facilities to support education , sports and also extra curricular activities. Good campus and good and friendly faculty. And also known for its Elections and college fest.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus made with both theoritical and practical aspects . And the course syllabus difficulty is moderate but contains much knowledge. We got enough industrial exposure during last year for final year project and also during internship.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 38000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have opted for internship in Lowe's India , it was like 5 days in a week and they were providing stipend of 17k per month and it was for 5 months duration. And process to get insternship is similar to placements.

Placement Experience

This institution have a very good placement rates , more than 90% of the students will get placed every year , and more than 100 companies will visit this college for placements. And placement process will start with placement trainings ( both aptitude and technical ) after that so many companies will come and all can apply to that based on some criterias provided by companies.

Campus life was just awesome. This college is known for its college fest, it is like mini dasara in mysore. And also so many events they will conduct through out the year to support and explore each and every skills and talents of individuals.

Fees and Financial Aid

Karepass is the scholarship provided by karnataka government and everyone can avail this one. They will give back the government fee we paid while getting admission. Jindal in another scholarship any OBC guys can apply. And they were providing education loans.

Campus Life

Free wifi, very good and big campus, big hockey ground and football ground , seperate badminton , basketball, thowball , table tennis ground. Free gym with personal trainers. And equipments in lab is in good conditions.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Electronics and Instrumentation branch is truly underrated!

The admission process to this branch will be based on KCET only. Eligibility is 12th pass in science stream and should a Karnataka student to write kcet.
