I am very happy with this college. I got everything what i wanted from faculties to guidance and oportunities. But the college is strict about academic and rules. We have to follow them and abide by them. Which is a good thing to do for a student.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is industry standerds and updated course. It is specially built for the current market senerios. We have courses like cloud, ito, machine learning, ai etc. We have advanced labs sponcered by CTS IBM and IoY lab by Cisco. Learning is not a problem there, we have to be active.
Placement Experience
If you are looking for Placement its have to be RVCE in bangalore. We have companies like Cisco, Microsoft, JPMC, Paypl, yahoo, these all comes every year for placement.
College Events
Inter department events, talent hunts and one grand college fest. Inter departments are organized in the month of Oct to Nov every year and in Feb we celebrate 8th mile as our tech fest. Apart from these many tech competition happens and organized by clubs. We also celebrates culturals like kannada day etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its modarate for phcet holders but costlier for management quota students. Pgcet quota students oays 3 to 3.5L for 3 years where as it takes 6 lakh for a student for mnagement quota. But all are treated well. There is no biased among us. Everyone gets equal oportunity.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students can opt for number of private as well as govt scholarship. It is based on cast as well as marit. There are soecific for physically challenged scholarahip for particular students . Only for karnataka people also can apply and there are also few for out siders.
Campus Life
Its a hige campus in bangalore mysore road, 60% are male and 40% female students are there. We have new upgrded labs and machinaries. We have incubation centers for startup companies. All kind of ethenic people are there, we have 2 canteen in our campus. One will definitely enjoy roaming there.
Hostel Facilities
No. I stay in PG, but college have good hostels with food. As i am staying in bangalore from long time so its not difficult for me to stay out side but our hostels have gym, playgrounds, and a greate canteen.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful, they guide us for electives, they guide us for the companies. They share their experiences which help us to take better decission.
Admission
I took admission by PGCET exam, its usually between june to Aug month of every year. One have to score less than 200 ra k to get our college. You can also come fro. KMAT. PGCET is now only for karnataka students, outsiders have to go through management quota for admission in MCA.
Faculty
More than 22 faculties in our college. All of they are expert in their field. We always get the real life examples. Classes are well equiped woth state of the art and tech driven display and other things. We experience out classes very well. These lectures help us to score good marks also.

RVCE Bangalore releases the Karnataka PGCET cut-off for the MCA program for each category of students. With 88 rank, you are not likely to meet the cut-off for general category. You can check the cut-off for the respective categories from RVCE Bangalore Cut-off.
Admission to the MCA course of RV College is based on KPGCET scores. And you must also have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks in order to be considered eligible for admission.
