Very good college. Great facilities with good academics. The college has very nice placements for computer science and information science students. Last year 3 students got placed for 53.5lpa and so I chose this college as I was able to get a seat in information science engineering.

The syllabus is good with practical orientation . The teachers are also supportive. Most of the teachers are friendly and clear all my doubts. Though there are some faculties who are rude and strict but most of them are very good. The college exactly teaches what the employers demand and so the syllabus is apt.

The placements for CSE,ISE and ECE are fabulous. All three branches have high placement percentage and high packages. The alumni network is also good. There have been great entrepreneurs from the college as well.

Campus life is not that good what I expected when I came to college. The college will start in-campus girls hostel from 2020. For now the in time for girls living in college hostels is 7pm and 10:30pm for boys. After 10:30 pm the boys can't even roam in the campus and there is utter silence. There are a few non technical clubs in the college like drama, dance and music club. Also there are clubs like NSS,NCC and Rotaract. The college has its fest every even year and e-summit every odd year where many students get involved.

The college infrastructure is not so good. The campus is of 50acres at the outskirts of Bangalore city. The sports facility is ok. Anil Kumble has been a graduate from RV College as well. Lab equipments are good. Library is a good but has only engineering related books and no novels.

The hostel is very good and clean. The mess is also very clean. For first years college has 2 hostels with double and triple sharing rooms. For second and third year students, college provides double sharing rooms and for third year students college Provides one room to each student. The mess food is very good.
