Remarks

In my city, easy transport route, the infrastructure is good and the faculty staff is good and friendly, and the placement is also good, provides opportunity and the course is also factory and labour oriented

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course of syllabus was recently updated an year back we joined the college, we had many factory visits and webinars to have an idea. The faculty was good and helpful especially our hod of bsh and hod of mechanical department.

Many well known it sector groups visit our college, main core companies also visit our college, recently our placement cell is working enough hard to make the ends meet. Our alumnis are also holding campaigns to suggest us the life after college, to get into our facilities and many.

Our college organises a big technical fest by the team named megatronix. We also have a cultural team named yuva, who organises our annual fest, and freshers party. In these fest, most of the colleges participate, and even people outside participates in the tech fest.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
