Remarks
I've always been a lover of Physics as a subject and this motivated me to take up this course. I chose the college because it's closer to my home and I've heard that the faculty is good. My class 12 marks weren't that extraordinary for me to get admission in a better college so i had to settle for Asutosh College.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is moderately good and very helpful too. The course curriculum is updated regularly and the overall academic pressure is adequate to keep a student at her/his toes at all times. Teeas are quite diligently scheduled and care is taken so that almost all students who are willing to study are catered to. The seniors are very helpful too and help in academics quite frequently.
Placement Experience
Not that great. The college claims to have an active placement wing but I very much doubt whether that's actually the case.
College Events
Campus life isn't that great. There's a political ambience to almost every thing which I don't like at all. The seniors are good and very helpful. The cultural programmes and encouragement of sports is quite there, especially the annual fest UDAAN which is one of the biggest fests in kolkata!
Campus Life
It's really stuffy and there's not enough space. The library is moderately equipped in terms of academic books but it lacks in other books and journals. There's wifi in the library. The laboratory is well equipped and all instruments are in good shape. The canteen needs improvement and so does the classes which should have air-conditioning given the moderately high money that students have to pay for the course.
