Bsc Agriculture have good scope in future University of agriculture sciences Dharwad is one of top universities in India and best Agriculture University in Karnataka and students get ICAR scholarship

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is very good and teachers are very experienced in bsc Agriculture one student should face many subjects and students also get plenty of practical knowledge Academics is also good Our University also provides good practical knowledge to students

Placement Experience

Very few companies come for providing placement jobs but there is good opportunity to students in seeking jobs because this agriculture provide plenty of jobs. University conducts many workshops about Entrepreneur ship and college provide opportunities for some students in educating in foreign universities

College Events

University conducts many work shops like IDP this program is available in very few Universities in India College celebrate Ganapati festival and many other festivals. Maximum every person participate in this program

Placements in our college are quite decent. Students become eligible from 6th - 7th semester, with companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Accenture and Wipro. The average package is around 7LPA. 75-90% students get placed on campus.

And other poultry based companies also provide placement opportunities for the students .package for the eligible candidates differ from the range of 50000 to 1lakh for fresh candidates without any experience . Percentage of students getting into placement is appreciable . Government veterinary officer job is most preferred.A government veterinary doctor can earn upto Rs. 50000 to 1 lakhs per month.based on the cgpa of the students who are all passed out top ranked students gets into the placements rest can try for the private sector jobs which also offers better package . My experience at Vijayapur college

In Karnataka, one can get seat in agriculture college through K-CET. We are supposed to give priority order for our colleges. So my priority order was - 1.University of agricultural Sciences, Dharwad 2.College of Agriculture, Vijayapura 3.University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur 4.GKVK, Bengaluru.. So i got into college of agriculture vijayapura. I couldn't make it to UASD dharwad since the cut off was a big high. I put vijayapura college as my 2nd priority because it is the sub campus of dharwad university itself. Uasd was my frst prefereed university because i have heard a lot about its reputation and faculty and campus life. Admission process went through Kcet board. My college rank all over India is 9th and in Karnataka it stands to first among other Agri colleges. Based on my cet ranking I got this college. I thought there will be campus selection , but my assumption went wrong. Admission process - first one should wrote KCET exam. After based on ranking one can go for counseling.
