Nttf journey review

Various companies recruiting from the campus and average package being offered

From 5th semester we are able to attend interviews.the companies visited are Infosys, Wipro, TVS, mother-son, mag india, all time, etc are offering good placements with good salary package for us.The highest salary package was about 5 lakh per annum got a trainee from a reputed company this year. every trainees should get an approximately 3lakh salary per annum. the trainees having good academic scores are more possible for getting job but academic was not the main criteria the interview is there,in interview they will ask you to introduction of yourself , your college journey, your academic grades, ask about a certain topic, then they conduct a viva that about what you studied in the 3 years basics of c programming etc like that.your skills. according to your skills you got job.all the trainees should be place.if there any one have supply you must clear that first then only you can attend the interview. After completing the course my plan is too o join a reputed company with good salary.or may be I will pursue a BTech degree after completing this course I will work 2 years then resign the job and join lateral entry in btech college after completing btech I will be getting more efficient job than now.this idea was my uncle's he was a former student of nttf now he is working in a reputed company with good salary package.

What are the internship opportunities and projects provided by the college?

The companies like Infosys, Wipro, mother-son, tvs etc provide placement they have 3mnth to 6mnths internship program with stipend. Software developer, engineer etc are the roles. We have project that will be individual or may be group wise. Iot based projects etc we have done one project using iot.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

I have taken diploma in computer engineering and infrastructure course.its a 3year course.i think this was a best one for who aspire working in IT field.i have nttf through my family suggestion. In my family so many are part of nttf .my maternal cousn sister is a teacher in nttf.. my uncle was studied here and now working in a good company with higher salary in Bangalore.my aunt she was a former teacher in nttf. My cousin brother also a student of nttf now working in uk and settled there with family. They all gave inspiration to join the college for my better future. In college they train you to a good human and how you became a good employee with good mindset. college uniforms are remarking how a employee should be .then there is exta curiocular activities like sports day, annual day etc.but mainly they were focusing studies and placements. Nttf build us to be a good employee. The main difficulty for me the exams the exam are conducting without giving any gap.there is no time to study if today I have an exam tomorrow I have one etc.. no leave or gap between exams .we need to study two types of exam one written exam for that we need to study the theory portion, then the next is MCQ for this we need to study questions and answers so there is no time for us to study.i like to change that at least a day gap between exam. The teachers are very good and their teaching methods also nice.

Total fees of the course

My college fees per year is 85000 .I have merit admission so I have to pay lesser money than non merit trainees. in my college they were conducting an entrance exam if students were passing the exam are selected for merit list and cross check their 10 th standard mark if they are able for merit. luckily. I got merit admission due to my good grades. Then there is a extra fee discount for girls trainees approximately 10% are provided. I have selected computer engineering course. Course duration is 3 years approx fee is less than 3 lakhs. in yearly I need to pay 85000.my tuition fees is 29700 per sem. If I'm not have a merit then ineed to pay 4 lakhs . 1lakh above for each year. My classmate a male trainee he have no extra discount of 10% . He have a merit seat so his tution fee is 33000. His 3 year fee is 325000 approx. In my college they provide a entrance exam If we passed that exam they were considered merit and there is an exta discount for girls trainees.

Various sports, clubs and library facility of the campus

Yes there are social services club like rotract, lion's etc.im the vice chairman of rotary club.we provided many social service activities like providing food for oldage homes spent time with them conduct free eye consulting ,blood donation camp etc we provided and there is a library in college if we need any book we can go and take it from there. there are annual day sports day etc there.they were very supportive for sports and dance programs.as a rotary member its very easy for me to understand the needs of people emotions the happiness.etc my friend went for a camp held at banglore ryla rotract camp.he said its very nice camp understanding the value of food ,team coordination , friendship etc..

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

There is a good relationship between the student and the teacher. The teachers are very supportive and helpful. my favourite teacher her is sini mam my class teacher she is very kind good gor taking class he was taking currently oops with c++,in previous sem she taked,c programming, html, pst etc.she was able to clear our doubts easily. All the teachers are very qualified and well educated. thera are 1:10 ratio for Student and teacher 1 teacher for 10 students.i don't like Sandeep sir he is not taking any subject for us but he is talking rudely may be his talking is like that I don't know. in each sem we have a main semester exam at the end of object sem that havin a part b exam of 50 marks written exam, then part a of 25 marks exam of MCQ type in laptop.then practical exam for practical subject. then they had conducted an intermediate exam at the half of the sem including the part a,part b, practical .this mark also addedd with the semester exam.

Admission process being in the campus

I didn't applied to other colleges because i have an aim for joining nttf.i joined nttf by my family suggestion .in my family most of the members are studied nttf, and working in good companies in uk, banglore etc..and my cousin sister she was teaching there its very easy for my parents to join there.i joined there in may 2023 they said me that they were conducting an object exam MCQ model question will be there that contains what you studied in 10th standard physics, maths, then a set of aptitude quiestions also will be there. If you were passed that exam you may me considered as merit. I attended the exam and I got passed with good marks and got merit admission. then they check my 10th standard marks with it I got 94% in 10th standard.. so they said you are selected as merit admission trainee.for the merit trainees they have benifits of fees they have to pay less fees than non merit trainees. as a girl I have an extra 10% discount too so its very affordable for me.the teachers and staffs are very nice and they were very informative.

Night Life

I didn't visited the college at night time.near by college there are hospital, gym , mall, hotels etc a riverside view , railway gate etc. Hostel is nearby the campus I'm a day scholar. I visited the cafe near by the campus at evening to have shawarma its my favourite..and its very safe locality with nearby houses, then security will be there, then 24 hrs camera protection.

Swati PandeyStudies Diploma in Information Technology and Data Analytics at NTTF, 2021

NTTF recently declared that Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia has offered BE program for its alumni network. The requirements are a diploma qualification, alongside at least 3 years of work experience.

Here are some of the program highlights you must not miss,

  1. The duration kept for the course is 1 year. Besides, the study materials for several additional subjects, assignments, or assessments would most likely be provided on an online portal.
  2. You should at least have done one project work, alongside publishing a paper in a recognized journal.
  3. If you have teaching experience then you must have published at least two papers in an identified journal.

If the requirements meet, you can undeniably be shortlisted.

How is it to be a training officer in NTTF? Will it help in the future to get in core industries (mechanical)?

Anindya ChoudharyNettur Technical Training Foundation

One of my friends was with NTTF as a Training officer for 4.5 years. During the training, he enhanced his core strength in tool engineering, shop floor basics, design processes, hydraulics pneumatics, and even robotics engineering.

According to him, the best part of the training was that he got to clear his theoretical knowledge and apply them practically during his training. If your basics are clear and you can express them properly then you will certainly get decent opportunities at the institute.

Currently, he is working with Jindal Steel in a new role. His training from NTTF has helped him prepared for the new challenges that come with the job.

I have completed my 12th standard and I am planning to go for an NTTF diploma program which gives a mechatronics diploma as well as a B.Voc degree. Should I go?

Aritra RoyDiploma Tool and Die Making ,Nettur Technical Training Foundation

One of my friends graduated from NTTF recently and according to him, if you don't have any government job aspirations then you can go with NTTF.

This is because NTTF doesn't have AICTE approval and you won't be able to apply for government sector jobs. However after diploma chances of getting a job easy than a bachelor that is the only point.

Since you are getting a diploma from NTTF along with a B. Voc Degree from a reputed college together B. Voc degree is government approved and makes you eligible for government jobs and you will be learning practical oriented skills at NTTF.

Which are other institutions or colleges comparable to NTTF providing practical knowledge?

Rajnath SanyalB.E. from Siddaganga Institute of Technology (2017)

NTTF is a prestigious private education institution in India, founded by the Indo-Swiss partnership for technical education. Here’s what I got to know after doing some research online.

  • There are a few institutes in India providing practical education like NTTF.
  • One of the major competitors is GTTC (i.e., Government Tool Room and Training Centre).
  • Both the institutes are famous for the Tools Engineering program and offer the same courses.
  • The teaching methods are similar, with workshops like NTTF.
  • GTTC has an edge over NTTF.
  • GTTC is government-authorized. Therefore, you can pursue graduation after your diploma.

Lastly, you get permission to attend the DCET exam, which will help you get into engineering colleges affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) or autonomous.

How to apply scholarship

Nov 13, 2025 14:53

To apply for a scholarship at Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF), you should first contact the admissions or financial aid office at your chosen NTTF campus to check which scholarships are available and applicable to your programme. Since the official website shows admissions and programmes but does not list a dedicated scholarship application form, you will need to ask for any specific scholarship eligibility criteria (e.g., merit, income-based, female discount) and required documents.
