Remarks

It is near to railway station of sealdah. My mom and my father read in this college. It is very clean and clear premises. Teachers are very helpful and careful. Union members are very helpful. My principal is very simple and caring person.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a very good subject for my. My favorite subject is bengali. So I take this subject. It's know the biography of rabindranath Tagore, Saratchandra chattopadhaya, bankimchandra etc. Bengali is my mother tongue. So, I proud that I take bengali.

Our college has placement and job opportunities. There are many student got job. There post is very high and salary is very good.

College Events

There are many cultural program, holi celebrate and teachers day celebrate, freshers party, social etc. Management system is very good. Our political party is always support my college and donate the money.

Yes. Our college has scholarship and loan facility system. Many students are this facility. Poor student can scholarship. This is truely greatful. I am proud for my college and I am a student of this college.

Campus Life

Our campus is very clean and many spaces. Library is full of space and many books are there. My college has one big auditorium. There are many cultural program, teachers day celebrate and freshers etc.

Hostel Facilities

My college has one hostel. There are many rooms. College student are there. Hostel is very clear and clean. There are two housekeeper and one cooking maker and one maid servent. Coaching class are there.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Management of admission process was very easy and good. No entrance exam is required for admission in this college. Students can apply for admission on the basis of higher secondary marks. Good marks in Bengali and English subjects are required in higher secondary for admission to graduate level in Journalism. Journalism & Mass Communication course fee is 15,680 per year . For admission in this college you have to apply on the official website of the college. The admission process start and end date and all related information is provided on that website. My personal opinion is that there is no need to change the procedures for admission in this college.
