Remarks

When I used to be in school, I was dreamt of getting admission in Delhi University as I am from a small town Pithoragarh, I always wanted to be self independent and free, curious to know the world view and foremost wanted to enhance my knowledge and get more opportunities to build my career

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, the course syllabus is up to date. And our commerce department faculties is the best faculties in the college. Yes college also provide industrial exposure as there are certain educational trips for commerce students as well as for BA students.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college is continuously working hard and giving their best to provide good placements to the students. They keep updating the students about the recruitments through WhatsApp group and send the link and called up for the interviews. And there are certain steps like Intelligence test,GD, Personal interview.

College Events

Campus life is very friendly and cultural. Delhi University is a cultural Hub,you will meet different types of people with different culture. The best part of being a delhi University student is FEST. Annual fest is the most awaited fest as there are many competitions and concerts by the famous bands and singers.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides free concession scholarship to the students who are not financially good. Students has to fill the form and then they are called for the interview with the documents.

Campus Life

Size of the library is good enough around 50-60 students can sit and read in the library, campus has the best infrastructure and good wifi connectivity. Sports faculties is the best in the college as the teachers are very supportive and provide sports equipment to the students.

Hostel Facilities

I used to live in Flat and that was 2 sharing room. With average rent 12000 per month. And we have to pay water and electricity bill separately with no restriction. And best part of that flat was the balcony.

Hostel Fee: INR 3000 per year

Good College life

Likes

I liked the Vibe of the Campus and Culture

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

Dream college or not ?

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

college provide good placements. Recently companies like deloite, paytm, zepto, agile, insplore and many more companies visited in campus. only 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Average package company offered is 500000. as for internships only 5th semester in 2nd year are eligible for applying in internships.

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering
No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Dislikes

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students
Due to construction dust is flowing around

My college provide good no. Of placement and placement from 7th semester students are eligible for placement many companies come over for recruits highest package is 6 lakh to 80 lakhs above 6 cgpa students are eligible to sit on placement

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Likes

The opportunity of placements are very good.
Faculty is very helpful and strict at the same time.
The privilage of free treatments for students and their families.

Dislikes

The campus is small and no fests are there.
No canteen is there and only badminton court there .
Girls hostel is there but not so comfortable it is.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the best part of this whole course. Placements are provided vy the college, at the end of the course which is of duration of 4.5 years. The placements can be at Govt. Hospitals, like AIIMS.

Faculties of this institute are good and helps in understanding each and every thing clearly and also it is near to my house. Campus is also good with every facility that a student needs. This college also provide teaching material to students so that they can get their concepts clear even at the time of exams.

From admission to reality.

I choosed HNBGU first but it is in srinagar Uttarakhand that why my parents are not ready to send me there . I choosed this college because It is the best evening college in the Delhi University. And i need evening college because i take classes for CA in morning . Yes i got rejected from North campus but after North campus it is my first preference.
