Remarks

I used to hear many people appreciating this college while I was in my 11th/12th. My parents were very particular that I join an institute with good placements. My dad insisted to take up CSE as my major partially because he's from the same field and also better placements. Finally after seeking everyone's advice/opinions about NMIT, I finally enrolled.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is very much up to date. Since it is an autonomous institute, they have far more liberty to modify the syllabus. Compared to the coaching provided in other institutes of Bangalore, I can definitely see the positive difference in my college.

Placement Experience

There are many companies that visit our college annually. As far as I've heard, majority of my seniors got placed, at least by mass recruitment.

College Events

Our annual fest Anaadyanta, is a huge hit in Bangalore. All the students are given a fair opportunity to participate in some or the other events. The department of CSE conducts hackathon every year. There are various clubs in which the students cn be a part of.

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

I chose this college mainly as it is a deemed to be university and one of the top colleges in Bangalore. It's a autonomous college. There is a great advantage over other VTU colleges.
