This the best college in India to study a bachelor course in Architecture. It is an autonomous institution managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Central Government. It has some of the best faculty members of the country and uses the best teaching methods.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college has some of the best faculty members in terms of experience and practical knowledge. The college lags a bit in terms of infrastructure, but gives a supreme all-round experience for its students.
Internships Opportunities
Urban Architecture Works(UAW)- architecture firm based in Delhi. Stipend of 15, 000 for an intern. Selection is through interview.
Placement Experience
I don't have much ideas about placement statistics because the placement cell has started to become active only in the last few years.
College Events
This college hosts a wide array of extra-curricular activities which has a very good participation from the students. It has 13 societies for different skills and activities, each headed by a team of students who are skilled in the field.
Campus Life
My college has one of the best libraries but lags behind in other facilities like wi-fi, labs, sports facilities, equipment, sizes of classrooms and conference halls. The college was established in the 1960s and some of the buildings are still from that period.
Hostel Facilities
I had opted for a PG facility and the average rent comes out to about 18000-21000 for a 2BHK apartment. Hostel is at a distance from the academic campus, therefore I preferred to join a PG which is near to the campus.
