Remarks
It is one of the oldest college and is among the 3 colleges of Delhi University which has completed it’s 100 successful year. It is one if the most prestigious college of the North campus of Delhi University with a good placement opportunity and lots of Extra curricular activities. It also has the most experienced teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always had the issue with the curriculum of the whole education system of our country. It’s not at all practical what we study and later what we do in our jobs are very different aspect but if i compare course of my university with other in the country then ya it has the most latest curriculum at least some level of practicality is there as compared to other Universities.
Internships Opportunities
Ya i had opted for many internships about along with the college it is difficult to do a full time internships so i did work from home internships. I got an opportunity to work in a research project by the University where the stipend was 700 per day.
Placement Experience
The placements are really good for commerce and English students although it is not that good for other courses because the placement cell works very less on spreading awareness about the placements. Many big companies visit the campus like all the Big 4 audit firms, Oberoi hotels, Zomato, Grant Thornton, Uber and many startups.
College Events
Ramjas is known for it’s elections and one can feel that right from the first day of admission. Also there are lots of fests functions going on throughout the year. There are DJ nights, rain dance, various society courses and colleges fests keep happening throughout the year.
Campus Life
It has good sports facilities and GYM.There is a big ground for basketball and other sports.The library is not that good although it has quite a big space. Wifi is just for the name sake. The computer labs good enough don’t know much about others
Hostel Facilities
The food i have heard is good rooms are fine but ya the hostels are far better than PGs. Although getting admission in hostel is as difficult as getting admission in the college there is a separate merit list for hostel admissions also and you have to meet that then only you will get the hostel but Ramjas is better than other colleges on this point that it gives opportunity to students every year to get into the hostel as if u score the highest marks in your first year or second year u will get admission in your second or third year respectively.
