Remarks

MH's Department of Economics is one of the most renowned Economics departments across the whole university. The faculty here is one of the best you can find in the entire Delhi University. The atmosphere and exposure provided by the college is amazing for personal as well as professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is rigorous for Economics Honours. MH is a very academically inclined college with students mostly scoring average or above average marks. The faculty is one of the best you can find in the entire Delhi University.

Placement Experience

MH has a placement cell which looks after both job opportunities as well as internships. However, jobs at MH are mostly offered to students from courses like Economics and Mathematics. ZS, McKinsey, Accenture are some of the companies which visited the college last year.

College Events

MH holds a lot of festivals throughout the year. Each department hold its own annual festival, each society holds different events throughout the year. The main festival of the college-Tempest is much awaited by the entire DU circuit.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good. Companies visited - Bain and co. , mckensey and co. , TATA, Airtel, Qaulcom, Samsung, microsoft, amazon, etc. Almost all tier one companies visited the campus. Overall 4.5/5 in governement engineering college for placments.

My CVS, DU story: Lessons, laughter and unforgettable memories!

Placement Experience:

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Honestly, I got Lady Shree Ram college at first with an English hons degree in hand. But I had Miranda listed 5 times in top 10 colleges I wanted to go to. So, I guess I got what I wanted. But, my dream college was Srcc with an economics degree. I am currently pursuing economics as a minor subject for now though. I believe that Miranda is a great college but it can never offer me what Srcc could. The admission process of my college is through the entrance exam called CUET. You have to get alteast above 720 from 800 if you want Miranda. Top courses require the least score of 760 in second cut off. It ois quite competitive....Read More
